Profesora de violín, ha diversificado su carrera tanto en España como en Estados Unidos y Sudamérica. Participó como ponente en la primera reunión de docencia sobre

música organizada por la Fundación Albéniz en Madrid junto a los profesores Marc Bleuse, ex director general de Música en Francia; el director del Junior Departament en la Guildhall School de Londres, Eric Hollis; el profesor del mismo centro Derek Rodgers; el compositor y director de la North Carolina School of Arts, Larry Smith, y el también compositor Gideon Waldrop, ex director de la Juilliard School de Nueva York y el profesor Lev Vlasenko, de Moscú. Su interés por la pedagogía le ha llevado a desarrollar y sistematizar técnicas de formación del profesorado de cuerda, siendo regularmente invitada a impartir cursos, charlas y seminarios por diferentes asociaciones educativas, conservatorios y escuelas de música del país, tanto públicas como privadas, entre ellas el Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia, la Joven Orquesta Nacional de España, Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad del País Vasco, Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Universidad Castilla la Mancha, Universidad de Andalucía, Clases magistrales en el Conservatorio Gossec de París, en la Ionian University de Corfú en Grecia y en el Summer String Academy de la Indiana University.

Es profesora de violín y directora del Ensemble de Violines en el Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Adolfo Salazar”, Madrid y en la Universidad  de Música y Artes Escénicas Alfonso X El Sabio colabora realizando masterclasses de violín.   Asimismo, imparte su docencia en los cursos de verano Curso Internacional de Música de los Pirineos, Pirineos Classic, Curso Internacional Forum Musikae y en el Curso Internacional de Música de Llanes, como profesora de violín y participando junto a artistas internacionales en los Festivales de Música de Verano. Regularmente imparte su docencia en las Orquestas de Estudiantes de la Comunidad de Madrid, Joven Orquesta Nacional de Catalunya y en la J.O.N.D.E. Ha impartido su docencia en la cátedra de violín de la Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía (2003-2006), siendo profesora asistente del profesor Rainer Schmidt, en la Escuela de Verano de Lucena (2002, 2003), Cátedra de Música Emili Pujol en Cervera y profesora de violín en el “Summer String Academy” en la Universidad de Indiana, Estados Unidos (2000-2009). Como directora del Ensemble de Violines del conservatorio Adolfo Salazar ha realizado varios conciertos en Asturias, La Rioja, Toledo, Salamanca, Madrid, Barcelona, Valladolid y giras por Cataluña, varias entidades culturales en París y en Grecia.​

Nacida en Barcelona y formada en la misma ciudad bajo la dirección de Gerard Claret y Goncal Comellas y gracias a las becas de la Caixa de Barcelona y del Ministerio de Cultura continúa su formación en la Universidad de Indiana (U.S.A.) donde obtiene un Master en Violín Pedagogía estudiando con los profesores Franco Gulli, Yuval Yaron, violín y Mimi Zweig pedagogía; Gyorgy Sëbok,   Menahem Pressler y James Buswell música de cámara. Además ha recibido las enseñanzas de otros profesores tales como: José Ramón Hevia, Piero Farulli, Agustín León Ara, Lluis Claret, Albert Gimenez-Atenelle, Henry Kowalski. Ha sido miembro de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid y Orquesta de Cámara Reina Sofía, del cuarteto Bellas Artes y del Ensemble Matisse. En la actualidad y desde 1984 forma dúo con el pianista Aníbal Bañados con quien ha realizado giras y conciertos por España, Estados Unidos     y Sudamérica. Un buen número de sus alumnos han sido galardonados en diferentes concursos nacionales   e   internacionales,   muchos   de   ellos   están   estudiando   en   las   escuelas   más prestigiosas del mundo, unos están en     la vida profesional dedicados a la docencia y otros desempeñan su labor como miembros de diferentes orquestas españolas y europeas.

 Renowned violin teacher, Anna Baget has diversified his career in Spain, the United States and South America.She participated as a speaker in the first meeting of music teaching organized by the Fundación Albéniz in Madrid, with professor Marc Bleuse, former CEO of Music in Franc; the director of the Junior Department at the Guildhall School in London, Eric Hollis; Derek Rodgers, Professor at the same center; the composer and conductor of the North Carolina School of Arts, Larry Smith, and composer Gideon Waldrop, former director of the Juilliard School in New York, as well as Professor Lev Vlasenko, of Moscow.

Her interest in education led her to develop and systematize teacher training techniques of string, being regularly invited to teach courses, lectures and seminars by different national educational associations, both public and private, including the Ministry of Education and Science,National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid, País Vasco University, University of Alcala de Henares, Castilla La Mancha University, Andalusia University "Stage de Música de Cambra", "Course for teachers and professors of Stage Music 2000" of "la Caixa", Tarragona Province, School of Music of the City of Barcelona.In the spring of 2002 he was invited to teach master classes at the Paris Conservatory Gossec and perform a concert tour with his students for a variety of cultural institutions in Paris.

She is violin Professor and director of the Violin Ensemble at the Conservatory of Music "Adolfo Salazar", in Madrid.

She also teaches in the "Summer String Academy" at the University of Indiana, United States and in the summer courses Emili Pujol de Cervera Music Chair, in the International Music Course in the Pyrenees, Pyrenees Classic and the International Music Course of Llanes, as a violin teacher and participating with international artists in the Summer Music Festivals.

She has taught violin being Professor Rainer Schmidt´s assistant in the School of Music Reina Sofia and the Summer School of Lucena.

Born in Barcelona and formed in the same city under the supervision of Gerard Claret and Goncal Comellas and by grants from the Caixa of Barcelona and the Ministry of Culture continues her training at Indiana University (USA) where she obtained a Master Degree in Violin and Pedagogy and studying with teachers Franco Gulli, Yuval Yaron and Mimi Zweig (violin); and Gyorgy Sebok, Menahem Pressler and James Buswell (chamber music). He was a member of the Symphonic Orchestra of Madrid and Reina Sofia Chamber Orchestra, Bellas Artes Quartet and the Matisse Ensemble.

As a soloist she has performed with the Chamber Orchestra "Soloists of Catalonia", Quito Symphony Orchestra and Pamplona Symphony Orchestra "Pablo Sarasate". Currently and since 1984 she forms a duo with pianist Hannibal Bañados with whom she has toured and gived concerts in Spain and South America".

A number of her students have won prizes in various competitions. Many of them are studying in the most prestigious schools, others dedicate their professional lives to teach and others perform as members of different Spanish and European orchestras.

OBLIGATION OF THE COMPETITORS:

  1. All competitors will be present 15 minutes before the start of the first Prova.
  2. The non-attendance to any Prova will determine the elimination of the aspirant. All contestants will be accompanied with their pianist. In case of need the organization can facilitate the contact of two pianists: Alexandra Andreeva and Julia Beatriz Rodriguez Sanchez.
  3. The competitors who are winners are required to attend the awards ceremony. In case of not attending, they will renounce their prize.

JURY:

  1. After all the Prova, the Jury will make public the results of its deliberation, being able to declare deserts the prizes that it deems appropriate. In any case, the resolutions of the same are unappealable, being empowered to resolve the questions that were not expressly provided in these bases.
  2. The public will be admitted in all the tests of the Contest, but the president of the jury will be able to evacuate the room in case of untimely or exaggerated demonstrations, continuing the test in private.
  3. All recording, both audio and video by attendees is prohibited.

RECORDING RIGHTS AND PROMOTION: The organization reserves the rights to record all the competition and use the registration only for promotion.

VALUATION CRITERIA:

  1. In order to assess the contestants, the following criteria will be taken into consideration:
  2. Expressivity: correct execution of the works and their indications of tempo, notes, rhythms, phrasing, articulations, dynamics, tuning, etc.
  3. Technical control: ability to solve technical difficulties included in the works performed.
  4. Sound quality: adequacy of sound style and repertoire.
  5. Musicality: artistic expression, formal sense, sense of musical style and ability to print the character to the work.
  6. Communication: intention, conviction, security and staging.

Chema Corvo is entitled Superior of Musical Pedagogy by the Conservatory Superior of Salamanca besides having the title of Professor of Piano and Solfege. Focusing their training and musical activity towards the jazz piano and improvisation. He has studied with professors such as Horacio Icasto, Mariano Díaz and Polo Ortí. In the same line, has made several courses and seminars, among which include:

"Improvisation at the piano", with Emilio Molina; "Modern solfege techniques", with Adelino Barrios; "Third jazz and flamenco seminar in Seville", given by Chano Domínguez, Rubén Dantas and Antonio Mesa; Jazz Course at  Conservatory of Salamanca with Bruce Barth and Steve Wilson; "Creative jazz workshop", with Bobby Martínez and Bob Sands; "Creative jazz workshop", Course of piano with Albert Bover, etc.

In 1990 he moved to France, where he studied Piano with Alain Motard in Bordeaux Conservatory, and later at the Ecole Normal de Musique in Paris, under the direction / supervision of Marguerite D'Arco. Enrolled in the School of Música Creativa in Madrid, he receives Modern Piano lessons from Ricard Miralles; Modern Harmony, with Claudio Gabis, and Composition and Arrangements with Eva Gancedo and Eduardo Laguillo. More recently, he has attended piano jazz classes with the Argentine Germán Kucich.

He has taught in several institutes of Secondary, as well as in various professional conservatories of Castilla and León (Salamanca, Zamora, Valladolid, Palencia).  He has taught Modern Piano and Keyboards in the Collective of Musicians of Salamanca (Spain).

He has taught at the "Big Band and Ensemble" courses of the University of Salamanca, during the academic years 2005 to 2010 and at the Katarina Gurska High School of Music in Madrid.

 He has taught courses of Instrumental Improvisation and Jazz at the Superior Conservatory of Salamanca, and in the Professional Conservatories of Salamanca, Ponferrada, Ávila and Zamora.

In his versatile role as a professional musician, he has been a member of several  ensemble of different style: blues, jazz, latin-jazz, tango, folk music. He has participated in several editions of the "Jazz en la Calle" in Salamanca and Santander. With the Newport Jazz quartet, he traveled to Palencia to be part of the program "Puestas de Sol", and in the I Festival International "Enclave de Música", in Barruelo de Santullán (Palencia).  He composed music for publicity and theater .

 Actually he palys dixie music with the  “Keaton Dixie Band” www.couleurcafejazzquartet.com), and in the cuartet “Couleur Café” (www.myspace.com/couleurcafejazz),  and  manouche music in “The last quarter”, he recorded a CD “Mariquelo” with Ángel Rufino.
